Re-certification for a Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) is required every two years. Starting May 1, 2022, all FAC re-certifications across the entire Federal government was standardized to a common Continuous Learning (CL) period which was from May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2024. These common CL periods will continue every two years with the same expiration date moving forward. The current re-certification deadline started May 1, 2024 and will end on April 30, 2026. Please check OALM’s site for the latest policy updates on initial certification and re-certification. Reach out to us at NIHTrainingCenter@nih.gov with questions about our acquisitions classes.
